RICS members can be identified by the letters after their name. MRICS or FRICS indicates that the surveyor you use has qualified as a Chartered surveyor.

organisation whose members are either partners or sole practitioners who run their own practices and are not owned by financial or corporate institutions. The ISA seeks to establish high standards of practice and ethics where members provide truly independent advice.
