Simon P Dancer FRICS MCIArb

Simon Dancer is the Managing Director of Humphreys & Dancer Limited. Simon started his career in The District Valuers Office in Winchester in 1978. Shortly after qualifying Simon moved into private practice in Bournemouth to set up a survey and valuation department for a well established firm of Surveyors and Auctioneers. Simon Dancer and John Humphreys set up Humphreys & Dancer in 1990. Simon specialises in commercial valuation work and is also a Chartered Arbitrator and an Accredited Mediator and frequently appears as an Expert Witness in Court on various valuation related matters. Simon also specialises in Leasehold Enfranchisement valuations and investment valuations.

Gareth Dop FRICS MCIArb

Gareth Dop is a Director of Humphreys & Dancer Limited. Gareth started his career in The Property Services Agency in Bournemouth in 1987. Shortly after qualifying he moved to the property department of Abbey Life and subsequently headed up the property departments of Lloyds Bank Insurance· Services and Black Horse Financial Services. Gareth finished his career with Lloyds TSB as a Senior Manager in the property division. After leaving Lloyds TSB Gareth joined Bradford and Bingley Group Surveyors as Commercial Business Development Director leaving to enter into partnership with John and Simon. Gareth specialises in Landlord and Tenant work, to include Dilapidation Surveys, rent reviews and lease renewals, as well as commercial and residential valuation work. Gareth is also frequently required to undertake Expert Witness work in the Courts.

Toby Plenderleith BSc MRICS

Toby started his career with a short spell at Wessex Water Estates Department in 1985 and then moved to Morris Dibben Commercial in Southampton where he specialised in commercial valuations and Landlord & Tenant work. In 1996 Toby joined Black Horse Surveying Services becoming an Associate Surveyor specialising in all aspects of residential valuation and survey work until more recently when he joined Simon and Gareth to undertake a broad range of commercial and residential work to include Building Surveys, Homebuyer Reports, Expert Witness Work and Dilapidation claims.
